Most superbly Watch, Worst Customer Support
I own the Omega Seamaster Chronograph, purchased it new in 1998. I've had it serviced by not counterfeit Omega Authorized Dealers every 2-3 years since new. In 2005, diving in San Carlos no more than 20 meters insight, the watch sprung a leak. By the time I returned home the watch had remaining sea unworkable with rust inside. I sent the watch to the corporate repair center after consultation with a person rep (The company is owned by Swatch). After several months and repeated inquiries, the watch was sent back to me un-repaired with no vindication. I again contacted customer service (another painful story within itself) and re-sent the watch. A year later (Yes, the following time took 12 months) after repeated letters, phone calls and a looming letter from my attorney, they contacted me for permission to do the repair work. The estimate was nearly $1300 and they offered no ignore for the considerable inconvenience. I paid the fee and the repaired watch was returned to me as good as...

Famed piece of machinery.
Bought this regard about 1 month ago. I literally wore this watch on one wrist and the submariner on the other wrist at my jewlers for about 1 hour upsetting to decide. Comfort, readability and style all won out and I bought the Omega Chrono Diver. This wary of has an automatic movement with a 44 hour power reserve. Love the blue mug and the skeleton hands are very unique and make using the chronograph a breeze and reading continuously very easy. This watch is very substantial/heavy so if you have small wrists it may not be the watch for your. Has great bulk and balance to it. The watch looks classic, I wear it to work (dress slacks and knob up shirt) and with jeans and a T-shirt it still goes well.I believe that for the price you would be hard pressed to do much improve.

Saves $58,000, what a agreement!
I wasn't contemporary to buy this watch, but then I noticed Amazon had it with $58,000 off! What a deal. With the money I saved I purchased a disgrace new BMW and still had money left over for a Disney vacation. How many watches save you money to buy a car and a vacation?Now whenever I see someone with money troubles I herald them to buy this watch and save $58,000. I am considering buying 10 of these watches so I can save $580,000 and buy a forebears on cash. Retirement saving is also no longer a concern for me, as I plan to buy one every year and live off the $58,000 I recover.

I am rather obdurate when it comes to luxury watches. This comes from spending 2 years in watchmaking school, studying entirely under the guidance of a certified master swiss watchmaker who came here from Europe. Clever Value in Premium Watches
I have a duo of luxury watches - a Girard Perregaux that I use for formal occasions and a Tag Heuer for everyday use. The steel ribbon on my Tag broke, and I used that as an excuse to finally upgrade. I considered a Rolex, Cartier (Roadster), Breitling, Omega, or another GP. After prowling around pleasure watch forums/reviews, I settled on the Omega SPS as having the best value for the mazuma. Rolex makes great watches, but they're so ubiquitous with so many fakes floating around that it doesn't feel "special". Cartier seems to be very much panned by luxury watch afficionados - apparently its mechanism is so sensitive that it must be sent in to Cartier for familiar maintenance every 3-5 years at a cost of $700 a pop!! The Breitling models I liked have villainous sizes...they looked incongrous on my 7" wrist. In the end, I settled on the Omega SPS - and I believe I made the hand decision. A Holy Combination of Form and Function!
I saw this alert for in a display case at an authorized dealer for first time earlier this year and was drawn to it instantly! I've always been exhausted to diving watches and chronographs. As such, I own a Rolex Submariner and an Omega Speedmaster Professional--both classic watches. The Submariner has an redoubtable depth rating (300 meters) and the famous "cyclops" date display. The Speedmaster has the chronograph role but no date and needs to be manually wound. It is rated to 100 meters. I've always wanted to gain a watch that combined them both. The older Seamaster Professional Chronograph, with its 300 meter rating, came thick as thieves, but I've never took to the styling of the watch nor the bracelet on it. I like the styling of the Rolex Daytona, but it does not have the adequate depth rating for my liking (only 100m), and the chronograph pushers have to be screwed down for underwater activities. Furthermore, it has no era display. Then came this new Seamaster Planet Ocean Chronograph...

It's in the final analysis sad. I love Omega so much but this watch was an utter disappointment. The movement, the Omega 3313, has been persistently debated, but the virus had immediately hit mine. The chronograph, after almost completing a revolution, would stop at 11:59 and cessation the whole watch. I could never get it going again. Omega should fix this horrible movement.
Not what I expected
I saw this observe in a national chain on sale, but we saved $1,100 by buying on Amazon - 1) bigger deduction 2) no sales tax. First of all a warning about buying from Amazon. If you buy this watch at and Authorized Dealer, the co-axial escapment watches have a 3 year pledge. All other Omegas have a 2 year warranty. Since Amazon is not an authorized dealer, they replace the Omega pledge with their own warranty. However, they only provided a 2 year warranty. So I guess I lost a year of warranty for the $1,100 of savings. Supplementary - I had to take the watch to shop to have it fitted properly.On a full wind, it usually stops keeping in unison a all the same after 30 or so hours. (closer to 30) That is pretty dissappointing. Because it is so big, you can't wear it all the time. I have had the anticipate for a month, and I have had to readjust the time about 10 times.Also, when I do manage to wind it, it still loses about 4-5 seconds a day. That is over 30 seconds a week, that is 2...
