Oris negligible second date:worth its price and weight in quality and performance.
Got this memorandum after much research. compared this to omega seamaster, tag heuer(all models), baume & mercier, longines hydroquest. this has all the features I necessity and more. something I can swim in, and probably in the near future, dive in. I even compared this to rolex submariner. this has the chief bang for your buck. i love the blue wave in the dial. very unique at this price organize. initially, the watch seemed heavy. after a week, it felt natural. would buy another oris in the future.

Effective Watch! Bargain for the Price!
I was hunting for a contraption watch. My criteria are: sapphire crystal for anti scratches, Swiss automatic flow, large diameter, something that has a decent water resistant, and preferrably as close to $1000 in terms of prices. I am not a diver, but I swim wholly regularly and will be taking a diving school soon. After months of research, my research landed to Oris. I was not handily convinced and did my home work. After all, the brand is not as popular as Tag Heuer, Omega, or Tissot. I was suprised to see nothing but beneficial review out there. Apparently, the company has been around for over 100 years and did not do too much advertising. Good for the consumer who is budget studied.None of the brands that I previously mentioned can compete with Oris. It has all the qualities and criteria that I want in a quality watch over and more importantly it is priced right.The watch comes in a big diver box. The latest over to my Oris collection did not disappoint.
I should in all probability begin with the seller and note that I received the product (in a flawless presentation) VERY quickly. Amazon and UPS each give a attainable date range for delivery, and this seller was at the front end of each.The watch is beautiful--both to the eye and the hand. It's certainly on the consequential side; however, it's not uncomfortable. It feels substantial and high end. Additionally, as I'd not seen the blue dial/bezel claque in person, I was a bit reluctant. However, just as I'd hoped, the blue is a nice change from the duller hateful; yet, it's not flashy or tacky.My wrist is on the small side; however, I was easily able to size it to fit. That said, if you have a chagrined wrist, you should note that this will not just blend subtly. The case is big and has some depth to it. As I'd done my research, though, this didn't snag me off guard; and I'm quite pleased with my purchase.

Superlative Time Piece
I am very please with my Williams Oris F1. Deviation from being an eye catcher, it has a beautiful automatic movement. The piece is light weight, comfortable, and very well built. The expo case adds to the overall look. Oris is well known for high quality pieces at sane prices and this watch represents that well.

By the skin of one's teeth got the Oris Williams F1 2008, looks perfect, amazing watch, just sold my old Oris williams F1 to buy this new miniature. This is the first I own with a rubber band and I really like it!A really good upgrade to the old Williams F1 gaze at!

COULD USE A Recovered BAND
Affection the watch. The ETA movement is one that I've been looking for as it has the day and date. Everyone has the 2824 with just the date, but being retired I'm more responsible with what day it is than the date. The band however is not my favorite, it feels rather flimsy. I'm thinking an ostrich strap, a young more dressy but not an aligator/croc dressy.

A categorically neat watch
I purchased this vigilant (smoky gray dial, not quite silver) and really like it. It's not your regular Swiss brand name, so it gets noticed. Solid, the right size, movement window in back, smooth dash of the second hand. The dial is somewhat aviation inspired without looking like a cockpit guide. If you're looking for an alternative Swiss, non-chronograph watch and the big brands are just too much money (or ego), look at Oris. Oh, the wing in mine gains about 2-3 secs/day, as good as or better than many quartz.

A remarkable look
The shining-ish face with black hands are a unique look. Oris is a fine timepiece from a small but known Swiss industrialist. The "rubber" wristband is the most comfortable I've worn -- it does not slip or induce dampness as some do.
