Fanciful Watch
This is my first steep or luxury watch. I have had Tissots in the past but this was my first entrance into a watch that retails close to 2 first-rate. I must say this is now a prize possession of mine. It looks great with a suit, which I wear at least 3 times a week for line, but it also looks incredible with a tee-shirt and jeans. I have gotten tons of compliments on it. It is not as flashy as some Tags which I like. It resembles a Rolex Oyster Continual pretty closely from a distance, and has been mistaken for such several times, yet its a fraction of the cost. I love this timepiece and cant say enough positive things about it. I have had the watch about 4 months and from what I can tell it loses maybe a minute per month.I would importantly recommend this watch, it is officially my "gateway drug" into the abyss that is watch collecting.

Pre-eminent Watch, Worst Customer Support
I own the Omega Seamaster Chronograph, purchased it new in 1998. I've had it serviced by not counterfeit Omega Authorized Dealers every 2-3 years since new. In 2005, diving in San Carlos no more than 20 meters profoundness, the watch sprung a leak. By the time I returned home the watch had remaining sea unworkable with rust inside. I sent the watch to the corporate repair center after consultation with a fellow rep (The company is owned by Swatch). After several months and repeated inquiries, the watch was sent back to me un-repaired with no explication. I again contacted customer service (another painful story within itself) and re-sent the watch. A year later (Yes, the shift time took 12 months) after repeated letters, phone calls and a comminatory letter from my attorney, they contacted me for permission to do the repair work. The estimate was nearly $1300 and they offered no deduct for the considerable inconvenience. I paid the fee and the repaired watch was returned to me as good as...

Bought this take heed of about 1 month ago. I literally wore this watch on one wrist and the submariner on the other wrist at my jewlers for about 1 hour infuriating to decide. Comfort, readability and style all won out and I bought the Omega Chrono Diver. This watch has an mechanical movement with a 44 hour power reserve. Love the blue face and the skeleton hands are very one of a kind and make using the chronograph a breeze and reading time very easy. This watch is very large/heavy so if you have small wrists it may not be the watch for your. Has great weight and balance to it. The watch looks deathless, I wear it to work (dress slacks and button up shirt) and with jeans and a T-shirt it still goes well.I fancy that for the price you would be hard pressed to do much better.

I have been researching Omega Seamaster watches for two of months, and went to several authorized dealers in my local area. They usually offer <15% take + tax. So it would be around $2900 if I buy from them. I was impressed by the price Amazon offered (~$800 saving), although I know that Amazon is not an authorized relations (therefore, the Omega warranty is void). I recieved the watch 2 days after placing the order. It is beautiful and same as what I saw from the shire dealers. It came with authentic box and 3 cards (surprising! since I thought the warranty card would be missing. Of practice, the card is not filled with proper dealer names etc. so it is void technically). Unfortunately, when I intentionally examed the back of the watch, I found that the serial number on the watch was scatched off (or more precisely speaking: wrecked). This comes from spending 2 years in watchmaking school, studying anon under the guidance of a certified master swiss watchmaker who came here from Europe. It's powered by Omega's break-through Co-Axial escapement. Developed in conjunction with owner's watchmaker George Daniels, it's based on double co-axial escape wheel, a lever with three pallet stones and impulse stone on the steelyard roller, together with a free sprung-balance. The Co-Axial escapement system reduces sliding abrading compared with the lever escapement and thus ensures greater accuracy over time.
This watch also features the Omega 2500 distinction automatic movement, which has been certified as a chronometer by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Command). Only 3 percent of watches produced in Switzerland are "chronometer-certified." To achieve this highly coveted validation, the movements are subjected to numerous tests over a period of 15 consecutive days and nights, in five positions and at three separate temperatures.
