Baume et Merciet (unmistakable bomb-eh me-air-cyah) is a classic timepiece, rated highly by GQ as a classic timepiece and much recommended as basically the "bottom" of the top tier of the elite manufacturers. Unmitigated fiasco - BEWARE when buying this.
Intial assess: (I wrote the day after I bought my 1st)stylish, elegant, understated, very thin, light weight, great buyhappy I bought it and fair-minded got one for my brotherUpdate -The watch is a few months old.Style wise - I love it.HOWEVER - I am concerned it might dropping back about 10min a week.I may have to return and repurchase - which is annoying - but smooth if done through amazon - I hope.2nd update -The supervise definitely loses time. I bought this inspect as a stocking stuffer this past christmas and my son has ranted and raved over this watch! He wears it to persuasion and also to soccer practice to keep track of when to switch foot training drills. I will be demanding that he erode this to his fifth grade graduation.
