Fearsome watch & Movado
I was looking for watches for a extended time. I was more into buying Citizen Eco Drive titanium ones with a lot of feature. Movado was expensive and mostly movados are deck out watches. I founs this piece at Macys and immediately got the feeling that I should buy it and the same feeling I was not getting while shopping for Eco drives. It is very firm watch, well built. Swiss movement is always better than japanese movement. I get a lot of complements from my friends and co workers. It is an terrifying piece of Movado and can be worn with jeans and casual wear.The picture on amazon does no equity to the watch. check it at movados website for better picture. Watch is much better in myself. Initially it felt bit heavier but not anymore. It is a very good piece to own. Of course it does not have doorbell whistles like titanium, perpetual calender, battery meter etc etc, still this watch beats others in looks.
Exercise caution Movado's warranty
So I purchased a Movado pocket watch not too long ago. Within 2 months, the battery had to be replaced. Ok, no biggie. Then the problems started. Part of a link mow down out while I was at a Yankee game, so I took it in to have the link replaced. This link problem happened 4 more times over the no doubt of the next year. Everytime I attended a sporting event, I had to take my watch off because clapping apparently loosens the links to the identify b say of breaking. I finally emailed Movado about 8 months after all the breaking happened, and got this response:We would like to have the occasion to assess your timepiece and as such we recommend that you send your watch to us for an evaluation. Include your warranty safe keeping card or proof of purchase if the timepiece is still within the warranty period. Prominent time piece
The Movados fill a things price point between the Bulova's, Tissot's and Brieghtling and Rolex's. The watch has beautiful craftsmanship and a rugged feel. The chronograph is different from many I've seen. It tracks seconds, minutes, and hours. It does not have tenths of a supporter. I guess that's a nod more towards diving and away from motorsports. Note this style watch comes in both lowering and silver face versions. They're both beautifull. I went with the black face for the more sporty look.

Slender In Every Way..
I selected this ESQ Lighthouse Chronograph from an assortment of available watches available as part of a 40 year Service Award from my place of business. I've always been a watch person and regularly looked for new watches until my Dear One gave me a Rolex some 20 years ago. Big, no-babble, watch good for Tux's or T's.
I bought this lookout a little over 6 months ago. I was very fortunate and bought it through a retailer using a 50% off coupon - so managed to pick it up for $275. I times owned a Maverick II from Swiss Army and while that watch had the right aesthetic idea, I found it's erect quality lacking. This ESQ is to the Swiss Army what Arnold was to DeVito in Twins...(1980's film?) Anyway, point is it's robust. It wears like a tank, though you get accustomed to it, and gives you the confidence that you're wearing a continuously piece that will last.I needed a watch I could wear regardless of how formal I was dressed. As a wedding photographer I customarily dress "up" for events and I wanted a watch that I could wear either while photographing nature, or at a formal result. It's one of the most attractive "tough" watches I've seen.This watch features a sliding rule ability which I'm only now scholarship to use... but it could come in handy for those who remember how to use this...
Staggering watch!
I true-love this watch. I was looking at Tags and Omegas but just couldn't justify paying a socking great price right now. I think this is a very good compromise with comparable styling, robust want, size and function. Like the previous posts this is a very large watch but bigger is superiority right now. The airplane motif and the attention to detail is amazing. I bought this from an online store and shipped to Canada with taxes and shipping for $350 CAD. I Non-Standard real don't think I could have found a better watch that is this nice to look at for that price point. I have even learned how some of the math functions employment. Irregular quality/ aesthetics/ value
I have looked at many "highline" watches such as the Tag Carrera or the Montblanc Timewalker and this ruined rivals the aesthetic appeal and costs a quarter as much. The piece has a nice, durable charge to it and the black band is as unique as they come. I get many compliments on this piece and best of all it adapts to your clothing whether it's a polo or your favorite suit. No, best of all it cost you $1500 less than comparable timepieces.

A take note of for the weekend only
I bought this peer at November 2007 and I feel like this is a Friday/Saturday night watch only. The platoon at first seems durable, but after wearing it once or twice in public, you will notice how easy it gets damaged. The border can be fixed but I'm unable to find someone that will fix it. It looks quite terrible and I'm not comfortable wearing it in public anymore.If you're looking for a accompany to wear to dinner, brunch, or church, this is your watch. If you're a rough kind of guy, buy the leather join that's a whole lot cheaper

When I had battery-operated replaced in Movado watch, the chronograph would not reset. When I had battery replaced in Festina watch by original jeweler, the chronograph would not reset to zero (although it was very close). Complained to second jeweler
Varying the battery specifically should not cause this, but fixing it should be rather easy. This should work on your Festina, and I'm guessing the same method would drudgery on your Movado:
