Gaze at reviews are subjective and this one is no different, here is some information that I feel would be useful to know before purchasing * The tend face is light silver but it looks almost pure white. The watch face detail and blued hands are the most artistically features of this watch * The watch wears big because there is no bezel and because it is very thick / tall. * This watch has no physical second hand; the only second hand is the chronograph function. * The Valjoux 7750 decrease in this watch keeps great time but it is fairly loud and wobbly - I have read some reviews where residents say they like to hear and feel the watch winding on their wrist but I would prefer a quieter works. * The band and clasp are excellent. The color is very dark brown, almost black. The clip can be used with any standard replacement strap. Not a fan of the grasp or the support contract...
Friendly dial, love the blue hands. Decent casing, but an ebauche 7750. Not too bad for the ready money, certainly nothing original really. However, the clasp isn't the greatest. Be wary that the design of the clasp system can imperil the safety of this piece. The primary buckle merely pushes through the strap holes, but there's nothing to healthy it there other than the friction of metal on leather. My Hamilton (H32616553) has a clasp that is more secure. B&M can do better. For another $1k you can pick up a Sinn, or for another $2k, a Glashutte Primeval. Other than this, a fair piece for the price.Edit: A little over a month of ownership and the watch has stopped operating. I was accepted to mention how loud the movement is, but another poster mentioned this, so I assume it's normal for this watch. Cogent and nice
The protect looks and feels really solid. Simple design and classical colours transmute this watch even better - it does not need any whistles and many dials to show off. The bracelet lock could be control superiors though - in summer time it sometimes even irritates the skin. I was wondering how the blue colour of the hands will look like. They are the briny deep blue and they do look beautiful - in most cases you wont notice they're blue, but when you do notice, it due makes watch look even more solid.

This was the first values bright and early I purchased an item this expensive online. I have to admit that I was bit sceptical, but once I got my watch I was extremely enchant with the whole experience. It got a day earlier and was packaged as if purchased from a regular store.
Batery died and rule came off in a month use
I'm very disheartened with this purchase. I bought this watch as a christas present for my wife. So last Friday, in less that two months of nonchalant use the watch just stoped working. My wife took it to a jewelry to check on the battery-operated which died in that small period of time and it had to be replaced with a new one.. After that, they guy who changed the batery tried to set the chance but the crown of the watch was loose and it came off. The worst thing is that the return period from Amazon expired on January 31, so now I'll have to appearance out the warranty of a bad quality product.

This Baume & Mercier 8820 Hampton self-regulating watch is an elegant dess watch done in an art-deco style. The smallish rectangular sketch runs counter to the current large watch trend -- witness the larger Rolex Dajejust II & Day-Age II. This ultimately timeless design will hold up nicely well after the current large watch fad is over.This single model features an annual calendar movement that you'll only need to correct once a year for leap year. Sounds like a bigger help than it is, since you'll need to adjust for time about once a week anyway. The level of accuracy I observed is is about 8-10 seconds a day, not bad for an conditioned movement that's not chronometer certified. Remember, if you really wanted a 100% accurate notice with perpetual calendar, you'd have gone with one of the excellent Japanese solar-atomic jobs.On balance, I'm very elated with my Hampton -- it looks great, feels exquisitely finished and will last you a long heyday.
