This is my first goods from Tag Heuer and I was apprehensive to purchase it not only because of no previous experience with the brand but also buying from an unauthorized agent, but I decided to give it a chance and buy direct from Amazon.I've had the Aquaracer 500M Calibre 5 Automatic for a week now and I'm thrilled with it. The nobility of the wristwatch is very high. The watch itself is a large piece but I have big wrists so it doesn't look elephantine on my wrist. People with smaller wrists may be put off by the size of the watch though. I didn't have to make any adjustments to the bunch to wear the watch, it fit properly right out of the box. The watch is also heavy but both the size and the weight give it a fulfilling substantial feel. Note this flyover is for a purchase made directly from Amazon, not a 3rd party.I've had my watch for just over a year now, and love it. I knew wealthy into this that the service was 3rd party via Amazon and not direct from Tag, but based on the savings was willing to chance it. I sent my peer at back to their service provider (Swinford Jewelers) in Kentucky 2 months ago. I've tried to contact the vendor twice via web type / email (there is no phone # or direct email address) and they haven't responded at all. All-embracing I am very happy with the product and having saved $1500 by buying from Amazon I can certainly not cry. Australia retail is $3100 and after taxes I paid $1625 from Amazon, so I am thrilled with the savings. This was my first buy from Amazon and was therefore inexperienced of what to expect. I was surprised that Amazon do not use up to date currency conversion (the AUD was worth 98.5 cents US at the dated of purchase but Amazon converted at 94 cents) so when buying an expensive item you discern the difference. I was also not prepared for taxes that were $147 but I am very happy that Amazon tagged it on to the upfront expense rather than have a licentious surprise on arrival. Couldn't be Happier with this on the qui vive for
I'm by no means a clock expert but I did think long and hard about the prospect of buying an Omega vs TAG vs anything else. When all was done, I opted for the sportiness yet gentility of this TAG he decision came down to Grand Carrera or Carrera Day Date. I chose the Day Date and made a pronounced choice. I get compliments on it all of the time. The size of the monstrosity took a little getting acclimated to to especially the height of the watch at 16.5mm. My business partner went with the Omega Planet The drink flood -- Although also a great watch. I simply like the aesthetics of this watch. One last thing - it's the one of the only TAGs, if not the only TAG that in reality has both the DAY and DATE displayed. Amazing detail.

Extraordinary
I have had this surveillance for almost 6 months now, and it hasn't let me down. Part of owning an Automatic watch is the need to wear it daily, or push it on a winder. I wear the watch daily, only choosing to wear one of my other watches when working in the garage, yard, or doing household renovations as to not take the plunge the crystal or damage the watch more than daily wear. The pictures and videos of this watch do not do it fair play, it is far better in person, and I would suggest before purchasing, go to a local retailer and check out the watch, see it on your wrist, and traverse sure the size fits you well. It isn't cheap and if you aren't happy with it, then you should know before you buy.I have large wrists, and the stout face, and thickness of the main body fits my wrist and body style well. Unrealistic Watch
This is my first stock or luxury watch. I have had Tissots in the past but this was my first entrance into a watch that retails close to 2 complete. I must say this is now a prize possession of mine. It looks great with a suit, which I wear at least 3 times a week for calling, but it also looks incredible with a tee-shirt and jeans. I have gotten tons of compliments on it. It is not as flashy as some Tags which I like. It resembles a Rolex Oyster Unremitting pretty closely from a distance, and has been mistaken for such several times, yet its a fraction of the cost. I love this shield and cant say enough positive things about it. I have had the watch about 4 months and from what I can tell it loses maybe a minute per month.I would well recommend this watch, it is officially my "gateway drug" into the abyss that is watch collecting.

A Value Tag Heuer
Some residents believe this watch is overpriced due to the movement. This may be the case if you're a diehard automatic movement fan. However I appreciate both types of time pieces and this watch is a steal at $700. The fit and finish and quality of materials is on par with any mind, including my SeaMaster and yes even my Submariner, yet sports a price tag of a fraction of their price. Tag Heuer is no Omega or Rolex but its characterize value is still quite high and this watch is an excellent proof of the craftsmanship of this luxury swiss watchmaker. If you don't necessity an automatic movement, want a beautiful fit and finish, sporty time piece with a noteworthy name behind it. This is your watch. My only gripe is that the box pictured is an aquaracer/ other higher end Tag model box. This watch comes with the pliant box with leather pillow. Enjoy, you won't be disapointed.

I had considered purchasing the be prepared from a jeweler just for the sake of having the Tag warrenty. After reviewing the warrenty Amazon offers deviation the Tag warrenty there wasn't a big difference in what would be covered, and they were both 2 years in length, so I decided to save $600.00 and go with Amazon. So ready and willing I did! The watch is gorgeous and it was packaged in the lovely Tag box with all the Tag care instructions. Completely satisfied!

Aquaracer Quartz Warning
I have owned my Aquaracer for about 8 months now and it has proven to be very nice and reliable. Several reviewers on different sites have complained about the alarm feature and at first it confused me too. After On purpose reading the manual I realized that it is normal for the alarm hands to rotate when pulling out the prow to set the time on the watch. This is part of the alarm synchronization procedure. After setting the time the alarm requests to be synchronized to the time set. This is done while the watch is still in time set mode with the crown pulled all the way out. Then just diminish b keep the alarm button in till the alarm hands show exactly the same time as the watch hands. When the His is pushed back in the alarm hands return to their previously set position and are synchronized. Once this is done the alarm is spot on target to the second. I have never before seen an analog watch with an alarm that sounded on the second.I am quite impressed with the prominence of...
