While, industry standards qualify Rolex, P.Philippe, TAG, ect as luxury watches- Perrelet is one that falls in a category of overpriced for its nobility of material and craftmanship.First and foremost, the presentation of the box is that of a 300-400 watch. Secondly, the watch felt bloody light and the casing hollow. If you have ever held a luxury watch, even those that only fall in the $1K range, you positive that the casing feels solid and the watch is heavy. This watch to me, felt more like the watches that you find in the alleys of chinatown. They look huge, unless you are told it cost $1,300.
