    The Tourbillon course was Invented in 1795 by Swiss watchmaker Abraham-Louis Breguet . The Tourbillon counters the effects of momentousness by mounting the escapement and balance wheel in a rotating cage, in order to negate the at the end of the day of gravity when the timepiece (and thus the escapement) is rotated. Originally an attempt to improve accuracy, tourbillons are still included in some costly modern watches as a novelty and demonstration of watch making virtuosity. The mechanism is usually unarmed on the watch's face to show it off. The Rougois tourbillon is a fine example of this movement. This beautifully expected mechanical wind up watch measures 42mm or 1 5/8 " wide and 12mm or 3/8 " thick. It has a 24 hour in line time zone indicator on the left dial. The right dial is the 24 hour day eventide indicator. The tourbillon oscillates and rotates itself around the axis of the frame every 60 seconds, thereby acting also as a surrogate hand. The watch is not only aesthetically pleasing to the eye but also mesmerizing to look at while sitting on your wrist. This is not a faux torbillon works or open heart movement, this is the real torbillon.     Exquisite watch
    I became a genuine fan of the tourbillon a few years ago, and I am so happy such a beautiful example of this movement is available for so cheap! This watch over is truly worthy of the display case that accompanies it. The pictures do not do justice to this watch. See for yourself.

    Add a mischievous sensibility to your professional and dress couture with this Chopard Happy Sport women's sentry (model 27/8418-23), which features five tiny diamonds that float within the watch's dial. The five diamonds have a gross weight of 0.15 carat, and they slide between two sapphire crystals. It's also fitted with five cabochon jewels for further fashionability--one on the jurisdiction on one on each corner of the watch where the band connects to the case. A cabochon is a semi-precious gemstone that's been shaped and superior with a rounded, convex top and a flat bottom.

    The silvery white dial includes Roman numeral markers at the phase of the moon hours, black baton hands (with seconds hand), and small minute indexes, and a escort window at 6 o'clock. The squarish watch case measures 30mm wide (1.18 inches) and 10mm thick (0.39 inches). It's matched to a stainless brace band with flattened oval links (matching the case's design) and a sparkling radiance. Other features include a precise Swiss quartz timing movement, Chopard's C signature stamped on the clasp, water resistance to 30 meters (99 feet)--enabling it to stick splashes and accidental dunks into the water, but not suitable for swimming.

    In a nod to its history, Chopard has returned to making its own endow with-winning watch movements.
    Louis-Ulysse Chopard, a hereditary watchmaker, opened the first Chopard watchmaking workshop in 1860 in a tight-fisted town of Sonvilier located in the Swiss Jura Mountains, concentrating on developing rigorous pocket watches and chronometers.
