There is no dispute that when it has came down to Movado, they have been the watch that every one has wanted to own with the style, and wearing the sun and moon on the wrist. But, there are those of us whom want a perpetual watch, one that doesn't ever want to stop or the battery die down. That shows well with this automatic Movado silvertone watch. This ravishing Men's watch is elegant, and shows a nice swiss-made movement. It has a pretty comfortable stainless stiletto bracelt that cardles around the wrist well. Astounding watch & Movado
I was looking for watches for a desire time. I was more into buying Citizen Eco Drive titanium ones with a lot of feature. Movado was expensive and mostly movados are haul someone over the coals watches. I founs this piece at Macys and immediately got the feeling that I should buy it and the same feeling I was not getting while shopping for Eco drives. It is very congested watch, well built. Swiss movement is always better than japanese movement. I get a lot of complements from my friends and co workers. It is an breathtaking piece of Movado and can be worn with jeans and casual wear.The picture on amazon does no fair play to the watch. check it at movados website for better picture. Watch is much better in ourselves. Initially it felt bit heavier but not anymore. It is a very good piece to own. Of course it does not have glockenspiel whistles like titanium, perpetual calender, battery meter etc etc, still this watch beats others in looks.
Be wary Movado's warranty
So I purchased a Movado ready for not too long ago. Within 2 months, the battery had to be replaced. Ok, no biggie. Then the problems started. Part of a link level out while I was at a Yankee game, so I took it in to have the link replaced. This link problem happened 4 more times over the despatch of the next year. Everytime I attended a sporting event, I had to take my watch off because clapping apparently loosens the links to the train a designate of breaking. I finally emailed Movado about 8 months after all the breaking happened, and got this response:We would like to have the possibility to assess your timepiece and as such we recommend that you send your watch to us for an evaluation. Include your warranty patronage card or proof of purchase if the timepiece is still within the warranty period. Sensational time piece
The Movados fill a actual price point between the Bulova's, Tissot's and Brieghtling and Rolex's. The watch has beautiful craftsmanship and a considerable feel. The chronograph is different from many I've seen. It tracks seconds, minutes, and hours. It does not have tenths of a second. I reckon that's a nod more towards diving and away from motorsports. Note this style watch comes in both black and burnished face versions. They're both beautifull. I went with the black face for the more sporty look.

It features a perfectly globe black Museum dial with slender silver-tone hands and a single concave dot at the twelve o'clock importance. This is the minimalist look made famous for Movado by American designer Nathan George Horwitt in 1947. Horwitt intended his lay out to be evocative of a sun dial, with the dot representing the sun at high noon. The black dial is housed in an ultra-thin stainless insulate case measuring 31mm wide and framed by a steel bezel with slightly elongated lugs. It presents on a smarmy black calfskin strap that tapers slightly toward the ends and fastens with a stainless dirk buckle closure. This watch features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and unambiguous Swiss quartz movement. Water-resistant to 30 meters, it can withstand splashes and abridged immersion in water; however, it is not sufficiently resistant for swimming.

Spacious watch
This care for looks great.. it isn't as big as a lot of the popular watches out there now, the face pretty slim, which is good for me because I have smaller wrists. Population are surprised that it doesn't cost more, it gets a lot of compliments. The band is leather, so it isn't as durable as some other bands would be.
Upright what you would expect, but a little smaller
Title when you get the watch, it looks absolutely gorgeous. In this case, the pictures you see do NOT mislead.Except on one part, the size is absolutely a bit smaller than I expected. The strap length is also not the largest. My wrists are average and I am already at the 3'rd to last notch.I would commend this to everyone except those with huge wrists, you might have trouble putting this on.
Freestyle Replacment is very expensive
Freestyle replacement is crazy, after 3 years I had to send it in to Movado and the replacement for the battery is $204 dlls. I paid $227 which was a massive deal, so I'm almost paying for another watch just to replace the battery. Don't get me wrong the watch looks matchless, it isn't as big as mosth watches and since I have small wrists this is perfect for me. But the Battery Replacment is very expensive

I've been shopping and researching for totally a while to find a good automatic mechanical watch without spending a fortune. This watch is outstanding. It has the feel and look of belongings solid craftsmanship. My preference is more towards a simple elegant look, I don't care much for a lot of dials and strew on the watch face. It has a classy look and the smoother sweep of the second hand sold it for me. I was so worn out of the click, click, click of quarts watches. I highly recommend this watch to anyone.
