Fully realized Choice
I had considered purchasing the vigilant from a jeweler just for the sake of having the Tag warrenty. After reviewing the warrenty Amazon offers departure from the subject the Tag warrenty there wasn't a big difference in what would be covered, and they were both 2 years in length, so I decided to save $600.00 and go with Amazon. So gratified I did! The watch is gorgeous and it was packaged in the lovely Tag box with all the Tag care instructions. Completely satisfied!

Aquaracer Quartz Alarm
I have owned my Aquaracer for about 8 months now and it has proven to be very for detail and reliable. Several reviewers on different sites have complained about the alarm feature and at first it confused me too. After CAREFULLY reading the instructions I realized that it is normal for the alarm hands to rotate when pulling out the stem to set the time on the watch. This is part of the alarm synchronization be derived from. After setting the time the alarm needs to be synchronized to the time set. This is done while the watch is still in time set mode with the circlet pulled all the way out. Then just hold the alarm button in till the alarm hands show exactly the same time as the attend hands. When the crown is pushed back in the alarm hands return to their previously set position and are synchronized. Once this is done the alarm is correct to the second. This is my first Tag and i am very pleased as Punch. Its a very nice looking watch. Its not to heavy, its just right. I have had the watch for one month now and have had no problems. a delicate solid watch
I've had this vigil for a few weeks now and it appears to be a solidly built watch with a feel of accuracy and attention to workings. I really like the the way it looks - bold but understated.One improvement that I'd make is to make the hands more detectable. Under certain conditions, usually interior lighting, they really blend in with the face forcing you to pressure your wrist around until the right angle reveals the location of the hands. While you'll do better with a black lineaments in this department, the silver face and black bezel, in my opinion, is still sharper in appearance.As for certainty, I compared the watch and its packaging (box, protective stickers) to that of the department store's and I feel cool about its origin. However, while I found all of the stickers to be intact, I noticed a few small hairs stuck on the inside of the league together which indicated to me that the watch didn't come straight from Tag untouched. Gargantuan Value
As always a awful experience buying from Amazon. Definately a great price on this watch. I had just looked at this wrist-watch at a large retail store and Amazon's price beat their 10% discounted sacrifice by about $425.00. The watch came as presented, new, in the box, with all paperwork. Very nicepurchase experience. My only concern is the factors that the watch was shipped with no signature required, since it falls below Amazon's dollar amount of $700. Not a fitting policy on a valuable item such as this.

A Value Tag Heuer
Some residents believe this watch is overpriced due to the movement. This may be the case if you're a diehard automatic movement fan. However I fancy both types of time pieces and this watch is a steal at $700. The fit and finish and quality of materials is on par with any of, including my SeaMaster and yes even my Submariner, yet sports a price tag of a fraction of their price. Tag Heuer is no Omega or Rolex but its make value is still quite high and this watch is an excellent proof of the craftsmanship of this luxury swiss watchmaker. If you don't demand an automatic movement, want a beautiful fit and finish, sporty time piece with a out-and-out name behind it. This is your watch. My only gripe is that the box pictured is an aquaracer/ other higher end Tag model box. This watch comes with the supple box with leather pillow. Enjoy, you won't be disapointed.
