In college, I well-regarded a watch my friend's date had on and asked her what it was. She said, "Longines baby!", obviously proud of herself and her timepiece. That stuck with me for years and when I had a conceivability to buy this watch, I jumped!First, I fell in love with the dial and shape of the case. I'm a sucker for art-deco so the numbers and hands had a deep appeal. Next, the shape of the case and the way the band curves to meet at the lugs sold me. Oh yeah, add in the "Longines neonate" image from my college days and the deal was done.The watch keeps excellent time for a automatic watch.
