A pretty lemon
I bought this awake to a couple of weeks ago. I got a gift certificate for father's day, so I decided to spoil myself with a new watch. When I bought it, the penalty was less than $800. I have bought watches from Amazon before, so I knew the watch was the real thing. I got the watch with the source case, manual and serial number. Only the warranty card was missing. The watch is principled beautiful. Everything was ok until I decided to adjust the date and day. I was doing it when the crown just fell off. I was in stupor. How something like that could happen with a watch like this. I returned the watch to Amazon and as usual the whole operation was flawless. I had to pay for shipment and insurance, so I am still a little bit upset about it. I still trust Amazon and planning to buy another keep a sharp lookout for from them soon.
Excess value for the money
Whilst not as authoritatively regarded as other swiss brands like Tag Heuer Oris makes some great watches. Amazon's appraisal is amazing! Retails for $2,000 here in Australia. This is a lot of watch for the money. Looks great on and gets alot of comments.
delightful watch
Advantage quality, good looking, good value. Nearly rate the quality to be as substantial as an Omega. The band is strong and thick. The case seems solid also.The automatic mechanism is very accurate (I bewildered 3 seconds after 28 hours).

Grand Watch!
I have this attend to, except with the blue face. I would have left a review for that particular model, but it's not for sale at the moment, and except for feel ashamed it's identical to this watch. It's a big watch, but on my 8+ inch wrist it looks perfectly at domestic. My brother (who has a 7 inch wrist and darker complexion) has tried it on and it looks awesome on his wrist too, although he did remark on that it felt kind of heavy to him. Another reviewer mentioned that the bracelet is lighter than it should be because of titanium links-- he's referring to a disparate model that has the titanium (and has Titan in the name), although that model is almost identical in every other way. I agree with that reviewer in that the titanium links prove to be the bracelet feel a little lighter on that model, but this particular model (with brushed stainless inner links and masterful stainless outer links) has the best bracelet feel I've ever experienced, and I wouldn't be talented to differentiate it...
Courteous looking, solid, masculine watch
I like a unaffected dial that is not crowded with a bunch of things I dont use. I also wanted a watch below $1000 so I did not be conscious of guilty wearing this on my wrist in a time of recession. Previously I owned a Breitling and I had to furnish it, so I have been without a watch for some time. I had been browsing the Oris watches for a while, and I like the fact that they are not very common here in the US. This watch feels weighty on my wrist, it is heavy, but not ULTRA heavy like the Breitling was. The bracelet feels a mini light which may be because it has some Titanium links in there along with the polished steel. I love the look of the face and it is just the amend size for my wrist, not looking too huge and it is just the right thickness as well at 12mm. My previous be on the watch was 15mm and that just seemed a little too thick. Definately a quality watch, but dont expect a Rolex. For the prize you cant beat it if you want something unique that looks good and you can tell it is not a cheap fossil...

This take note is a keeper
I very recently received this watch and it is a definite keeper. I was looking for a beefy diver style protect and loved the first Oris watch I picked up about two years ago. So I ordered this one and now it is here. The out of box experience connotes quality as does the comprehensive fit and finish of this time piece. The "port hole" watch box is great for display purposes if you don't have a winder. Pleasingly touch. The watch dial is easy to read and the long tapered hands skate across the face with grace. The lume is the best for any watch in my collection. The movement is quite exact and I love the red rotor behind the exhibition case back. The bracelet is classic diver topped off with the safeness clasp. I would recommend this watch, especially for the price ($900) on Amazon.

Fantastic Time Piece
I am very please with my Williams Oris F1. Excursion from being an eye catcher, it has a beautiful automatic movement. The piece is light weight, comfortable, and very well built. The fair case adds to the overall look. Oris is well known for high quality pieces at rational prices and this watch represents that well.

Simply got the Oris Williams F1 2008, looks perfect, amazing watch, just sold my old Oris williams F1 to buy this new standard. This is the first I own with a rubber band and I really like it! A really good upgrade to the old Williams F1 of!

Oris are leave out watches and reasonably priced. Amazon have been very processional being a reseller of a lot of these quality watches and also it is good to see that smaller shops are supported through Amazon. I have ordered two watches through Amazon and be convinced of that the service is exceptional. The Oris Williams F1 watch is perfect formal watch that can be worn as a 'fill someone's needs' watch or special occasions watch. Very well crafted automatic watch with precise Swiss movements and a glassed trap back that allows you to see the mechanics of the watch. Note also Oris swivel wheel (back of watch) that will (if worn regularly) keep the duration precise rather than winding watch frequently. So wear watch with well pressed shirt, Armani pants and elevated shoes. Make sure watch is visible whilst sipping on quality Tequila or Vodka.
