Vanquish Watch, Worst Customer Support
I own the Omega Seamaster Chronograph, purchased it new in 1998. I've had it serviced by true Omega Authorized Dealers every 2-3 years since new. In 2005, diving in San Carlos no more than 20 meters sageness, the watch sprung a leak. By the time I returned home the watch had remaining sea bottled water with rust inside. I sent the watch to the corporate repair center after consultation with a purchaser rep (The company is owned by Swatch). After several months and repeated inquiries, the watch was sent back to me un-repaired with no explication. I again contacted customer service (another painful story within itself) and re-sent the watch. A year later (Yes, the subsequent time took 12 months) after repeated letters, phone calls and a impending letter from my attorney, they contacted me for permission to do the repair work. The estimate was nearly $1300 and they offered no reduction for the considerable inconvenience. I paid the fee and the repaired watch was returned to me as good as...

Bought this be watchful for about 1 month ago. I literally wore this watch on one wrist and the submariner on the other wrist at my jewlers for about 1 hour worrisome to decide. Comfort, readability and style all won out and I bought the Omega Chrono Diver. This watch has an reflex movement with a 44 hour power reserve. Love the blue face and the skeleton hands are very sui generis and make using the chronograph a breeze and reading time very easy. This watch is very well-built/heavy so if you have small wrists it may not be the watch for your. Has great weight and balance to it. The watch looks outstanding, I wear it to work (dress slacks and button up shirt) and with jeans and a T-shirt it still goes well.I have faith that for the price you would be hard pressed to do much better.

The blue blood of the wristwatch is very high. The watch itself is a large piece but I have big wrists so it doesn't look massive on my wrist. People with smaller wrists may be put off by the size of the watch though. I didn't have to make any adjustments to the body to wear the watch, it fit properly right out of the box. The watch is also heavy but both the size and the weight give it a pacifying substantial feel. I knew prevalent into this that the service was 3rd party via Amazon and not direct from Tag, but based on the savings was willing to chance it. I sent my chronometer back to their service provider (Swinford Jewelers) in Kentucky 2 months ago. I've tried to contact the vendor twice via web coin / email (there is no phone # or direct email address) and they haven't responded at all. All-inclusive I am very happy with the product and having saved $1500 by buying from Amazon I can certainly not gripe. Australia retail is $3100 and after taxes I paid $1625 from Amazon, so I am thrilled with the savings. This was my first buy from Amazon and was therefore unread of what to expect. I was surprised that Amazon do not use up to date currency conversion (the AUD was worth 98.5 cents US at the culture of purchase but Amazon converted at 94 cents) so when buying an expensive item you consciousness the difference. I was also not prepared for taxes that were $147 but I am very happy that Amazon tagged it on to the upfront expense rather than have a disagreeable surprise on arrival. This watch also features the Omega 2500 excellence automatic movement, which has been certified as a chronometer by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Restrain). Only 3 percent of watches produced in Switzerland are "chronometer-certified." To achieve this highly coveted endorsement, the movements are subjected to numerous tests over a period of 15 consecutive days and nights, in five positions and at three exceptional temperatures.

Well, I divine I was supposed to have this watch. I had always wanted a Seamaster Cronometer Automatic, but never saw myself spending this kind of wealth, not to mention the price at an authorized dealer. I remember the watch is a work of art, very solid, and very well finished. Appears to keep very good time. My only concern with the undamaged transaction has to do with Amazon warranty/support on the watch. I was having difficulty with getting the steady old-fashioned to change correctly and initially thought there was a problem with the watch.
