Darling this watch, excellent price
I bought my Movado 3 years ago from a Movado merchandiser and couldn't be happier. The quality is fantastic, I am not gentle on things I own and after 3 years there is still not a scratch on the expression of this watch. $800 is still a lot of money for a watch but compared to thousands for other models of Movados I was very walking on air.

It features a perfectly marshal black Museum dial with slender silver-tone hands and a single concave dot at the twelve o'clock class. This is the minimalist look made famous for Movado by American designer Nathan George Horwitt in 1947. Horwitt intended his plan to be evocative of a sun dial, with the dot representing the sun at high noon. The black dial is housed in an ultra-thin stainless insulate case measuring 31mm wide and framed by a steel bezel with slightly elongated lugs. It presents on a hypocritical black calfskin strap that tapers slightly toward the ends and fastens with a stainless dagger buckle closure. This watch features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and exacting Swiss quartz movement. Water-resistant to 30 meters, it can withstand splashes and evanescent immersion in water; however, it is not sufficiently resistant for swimming.

Capacious watch
This anticipate looks great.. it isn't as big as a lot of the popular watches out there now, the face pretty slim, which is good for me because I have smaller wrists. Populace are surprised that it doesn't cost more, it gets a lot of compliments. The band is leather, so it isn't as durable as some other bands would be.
At most what you would expect, but a little smaller
Upper when you get the watch, it looks absolutely gorgeous. In this case, the pictures you see do NOT mislead.Except on one part, the size is in reality a bit smaller than I expected. The strap length is also not the largest. My wrists are average and I am already at the 3'rd to last notch.I would exhort this to everyone except those with huge wrists, you might have trouble putting this on.
Freestyle Replacment is very expensive
Battery-operated replacement is crazy, after 3 years I had to send it in to Movado and the replacement for the battery is $204 dlls. I paid $227 which was a outstanding deal, so I'm almost paying for another watch just to replace the battery. Don't get me wrong the watch looks faithful, it isn't as big as mosth watches and since I have small wrists this is perfect for me. But the Battery Replacment is very expensive

Fastidious watch
It takes you a youthful time to get used to the design, but it looks very nice on your wrist. Reliable delivery as common, will not get 5 stars because I found it a lot cheaper at movado's outlets.

Terrifying watch & Movado
I was looking for watches for a dream of time. I was more into buying Citizen Eco Drive titanium ones with a lot of feature. Movado was expensive and mostly movados are scold watches. I founs this piece at Macys and immediately got the feeling that I should buy it and the same feeling I was not getting while shopping for Eco drives. It is very unbroken watch, well built. Swiss movement is always better than japanese movement. I get a lot of complements from my friends and co workers. It is an daunting piece of Movado and can be worn with jeans and casual wear.The picture on amazon does no morality to the watch. check it at movados website for better picture. Watch is much better in myself. Initially it felt bit heavier but not anymore. It is a very good piece to own. Of course it does not have doorbell whistles like titanium, perpetual calender, battery meter etc etc, still this watch beats others in looks.
Be cautious Movado's warranty
So I purchased a Movado watchful of not too long ago. Within 2 months, the battery had to be replaced. Ok, no biggie. Then the problems started. Part of a link kill out while I was at a Yankee game, so I took it in to have the link replaced. This link problem happened 4 more times over the definitely of the next year. Everytime I attended a sporting event, I had to take my watch off because clapping apparently loosens the links to the tally of breaking. I finally emailed Movado about 8 months after all the breaking happened, and got this response:We would like to have the opening to assess your timepiece and as such we recommend that you send your watch to us for an evaluation. Include your warranty protection money card or proof of purchase if the timepiece is still within the warranty period. If your watch is out of warranty, you will get an estimate indicating all repair costs. Also, include your repair receipts from the Authorized Movado Use Center detailing the...

Celebrated time piece
The Movados fill a suitable price point between the Bulova's, Tissot's and Brieghtling and Rolex's. The watch has beautiful craftsmanship and a enormous feel. The chronograph is different from many I've seen. It tracks seconds, minutes, and hours. It does not have tenths of a subsequent. I guess that's a nod more towards diving and away from motorsports. Note this style watch comes in both boycott and silver face versions. They're both beautifull. I went with the black face for the more sporty look.
